Mädchen Pis (2021) Original Oil Painting by Isabel Mahe

They say that girls,
in Brussels or elsewhere,
can pee standing up.

I don't believe
a word of it.

That would be quite a pity.
For despite the advantage
of watering things without delay,

one can take one's time,
linger,
daydream,

and savour the pleasure
of doing it
in secret.
