This painting is another expression of my love for delicious food, especially anything made from dough! Pasta, pizza, freshly baked bread — these are things I find almost impossible to resist.

But here, I wanted to capture something beyond the pleasure of our favorite flavors.

Food is such a wonderful part of our lives. It brings us together around the same table, unites families, and strengthens friendships. Over a delicious meal, conversations unfold, laughter fills the air, stories are shared, and memories are created that may stay with us for years.

In this painting, I wanted to preserve the atmosphere of a warm Mediterranean evening — fragrant pizza, a glass of wine, flowers on the table, and that wonderful feeling of having nowhere to rush.

Sometimes, one of life’s greatest treasures is simply the opportunity to share a good meal with the people we love.
