Degas in Tutu was inspired by the lack of men you see in erotic art. I chose Degas because he liked little girls. Seriously, search erotic art, it is all women! So yes, I took it a step further and put him in a tutu. But I think he looks fabulous!

Degas in Tutu is from series of nudes I created from images of birch bark trees I photographed in Charleston, South Carolina. I love their bark and yes, I see nude limbs and people in the bare trees of winter. I am hesitant about taking a Rorschach test.

Dimensions include 3" white border.
