Original artwork description:

Acrylic and pencil illustration on painted book page.

'Making shit you can't afford for people you hate'- Doug Stanhope

I'm not sure why, but a lot of the time the words that really resonate with me are those from comedians, maybe comedy is like art 'using lies to create truth'.

An illustration about the daily grind, the work we all do to pay for an extra serving of caviar for the wealthy. The extra hours we put in to add an extra horse to the stables of the elite. The crap food we serve other workers to line the pockets of those who have never had dirt under their fingernails.

Framed and ready to hang in an up cycled wooden frame.

Materials used:

Acrylic and pencil on painted book page
