Lush Meadows (2024) Original Oil Painting by Aleksandr Dubrovskyy

There are landscapes where abundance can be seen everywhere. The grass grows thick, the forest covers the mountain slopes, and cattle graze on land generous enough to sustain them.

In "Lush Meadows," cows move quietly across a sunlit mountain meadow surrounded by dense vegetation. Behind them, layers of forest climb toward distant mountains, while the foreground is filled with grasses and plants painted in greens, blues, yellow and violet.

I wanted the landscape to feel full rather than simply beautiful. There is almost no empty space. Trees, grasses, animals, mountains and sky are all part of one thriving environment.

The title refers to this natural prosperity. For me, these meadows represent wealth in its oldest and simplest form: fertile land, healthy animals, sunlight and abundant growth.
