This painting is a unique piece that formed part of my early collection of oil paintings. I wished to create a piece of work that may provide the viewer with their own story behind it. Prior to creating this my first thought was to think of a background and decided to use the beautifully coloured Reed Flute caves in China as the backdrop. I thought that it was only fitting that as the caves are from China, I should add pandas to the picture. As these pandas are not in their usual habitat, I have added a photographer taking pictures of this unusual sighting. I used a palette knife to shape the cave walls.
Perfect for adding a statement piece to living spaces that may create a talking point with visitors.
Executed in good quality oil paints, painted on all sides, and finished with a glaze of gloss varnish to protect against sunlight and dust. It just needs a nail or wall fitting to sit flush against the wall.

The painting is 24 x 32 inches, with a depth of 0.75 inches and is on stretched canvas.
