Little sicret (2026) Original Oil Painting by Anna Bogushevskaya

This work draws on a childhood memory of a game we called “Secret.” We would make a small opening in the ground and hide flowers, candy wrappers, sweets, and other little treasures beneath a piece of glass, covering them with grass.
The secret could be returned to later especially in moments of sadness as a small, private source of joy.
I wanted to capture the moment of discovery: the instant when the grass is lifted and a hidden world suddenly appears. For me, it is a moment of childhood wonder and happiness, when something small and carefully preserved can still bring joy years later
