Lingering Snow (2026) Original Oil Painting by Joanna Farrow

During the only snowfall we had on the Ashdown Forest last winter I was keen to get out and paint it. This painting, worked from drawings done on the forest, was completed in my Sussex studio. I like the dramatic feel of this artwork and the contrast between light and rich dark colours. The painting is framed in a good quality, white painted wood frame with a shadow gap between the canvas and frame to enhance the painting.
