£261.12

Acrylic colour on acid free watercolor paper, 300 gm weight, 16.5x 11.5 in., 42 x 29.5 cm
The painting is inspired from one of my many, many sketches. Slowly I am reaching into my trunk full of sketches, organizing them, and reworking them into paintings. Many of my inspirations come from sitting out in public places. More are creative interpretations from images I see…. such as this one. Here I am using a loose approach to applying the colour, more expressive. The simpler result can be quite refreshing. The figure always make a good subject. The lines are fluid, the challenge is to put movement into the painting with colour and ‘splash’.
The close up pictures are to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress, and the pencil sketch (included on request if still available).
