Lightning Strike is an original acrylic and mixed-media painting inspired by the sudden drama of light breaking across a landscape.
Soft pinks and blues meet deeper, darker tones, while expressive white lines cut through the surface like flashes of lightning. Layers of colour, texture and energetic marks create a feeling of movement and atmosphere, as though the landscape has been caught in a brief, charged moment between calm and storm.
Although dramatic, the painting also has a gentle quality. The pale central area gives a sense of openness and light, balanced by stronger contrasts around the edges.
