Lemons (2025) Original Oil Painting by Liubou Sas

This striking artwork captures a unique, dynamic perspective by focusing on well-worn brown leather shoes and patterned socks, set amidst a vibrant orchard ground. The brushwork is energetic, emphasizing texture and movement, engaging the viewer in the lively interaction between the shoes, the lush greenery, and scattered yellow fruits, possibly lemons. The choice of colors is bold and contrasting, with rich, earthy tones of the shoes juxtaposed against the vivid greens and yellows, creating a compelling visual harmony. The perspective, looking down at the feet, invites an intimate exploration of the scene that feels both personal and immersive. This not only highlights the artist's technical prowess but also their ability to capture everyday moments with fresh, unexpected depth, inviting reflection on the ordinary and its inherent beauty.
