"The Wave" represents this insubstantial energy omnipresent in our universe which is a source of power, inner energie, creativity, Life... This kind of energy that helps us to move fovard and build our lives the way we want them to be. To live, not just to exist! - that's the message.
At the time I made this painting, during my "Cosmos" period, I was reading Michel Onfray's Cosmos. It deeply resonated with the memories of my Siberian journeys in the mountains to meet people who still live like they did a centery ago, in closeness and harmony with the nature.
