Inspire (2015) Original Acrylic Painting by Cornelia Petrea

I began this piece by sketching random marks with charcoal and crayon. I layered on a base color and began adding color from there. Between layers of colors I made more marks with the charcoal and crayon. I used glazes and paint as the final layer. It's a fun and colorful piece full of motion and inspiration. "Inspire" was a delight to paint and it makes me happy when I look at it.
