During the Covid pandemic, when travel abroad was not an option, we had a few days in North Devon. One place that really took my fancy was a seaside spot called Instow. there is an hotel there that I intend to go to when I want some tranquillity and fresh sea air. It inspired me to paint a tranquil view where the water creeps into what feels like a haven... just like Instow!
I used soft colours to create a fascinating sky and the watery haven below.
The painting is ready to hang with grosgrain ribbon around its edges giving it a contemporary feel....it can also be framed.

Materials used:

oil paints, palette knives and hogshair brushes
