Inconfessus (2026) Original Oil Painting by Mladen Ilic

£974.72
Original artwork description
The figure embodies the paradox of silence: what remains unexpressed does not disappear, but grows brighter, demanding to be released. For some truths, silence is not an ending, but a threshold of revelation.
The work exists between figurative painting and abstraction, where the figure becomes less an individual and more a trace of movement and presence.
I work intuitively, without sketches or photographic references, allowing the image to develop through memory, emotion and inner dialogue.
