Original artwork description
This is a painting of the landscape taking on board many ways of painting and drawing without the use of brushes. These images seek to capture what we see in the landscape, both the non-urban and urban environment including: overgrown foliage on fencing, buildings old and worn, paint flaking off frames and doors, glimpses of the world as it speeds by whilst on a train, car or cycling along a country road.
This is a series of acrylic paintings exploring landscape painting using both elements of chance, the accident and direction. The acrylics being used is heavy body Liquitex, so it has a strong, professional quality to each layer as they are applied to the surface of the mixed media paper. The paper is then glued to board for a more sturdy card substrate.
Professionally framed by Fine Art and Framing in Taunton, UK.
