Original artwork description
Flowers emerge from a shifting field of color, some fully present, others barely held by a line or a trace of pigment. Violet, pink and coral move through softer greens and greys, while stems and leaves seem to appear and disappear across the paper.
The painting explores the space between seeing and remembering. Instead of defining every form, I allow water, pigment and unfinished marks to carry part of the image. The flowers remain recognizable, but their boundaries begin to dissolve — becoming fragments of color, movement and perception.
