This original acacia wood sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the talented Bulgarian professional sculptor Nikola Tsvetanov, deeply inspired by postmodernism, De Stijl, contemporary minimalism and abstract geometry. The artist concept is to create linear couple of objects by closing the inner space, while actually leaving it free in three dimensional points of view. It is one extraordinary acacia woodcarving masterpiece and exquisite modern home décor.
Nikola Tsvetanov’s work encompasses many contemporary art styles with the act of minimal drawing being key to his exploration of form and sculptural composition. Mining a space between figuration and abstraction, the artist consistently returns to nature as a point of departure, exploring biological figures and scientific shapes as a metaphor for transformation.
