Linocut (1936). Original size: 24.4 x 28.8cm. Compare with Sybil Andrews’ ‘Mowers’ print. Whereas in ‘Mowers’ it is the scythes which are prominent and the burnt earth colours, in this print it is the mowers’ action which is the point of focus, and the colours are of an altogether more benign summer’s afternoon.

This print is authorised for publication by the artist's Estate and has a seal of authenticity embossed onto the white paper margin. It is from a limited edition of 850 and is hand-numbered and hand-embossed. This print has a typed caption running along its paper border. The caption indicates permission and authorisation from the artist's Estate, and from the museum or gallery holding the work. The caption will be concealed by a mount when the print is framed.
