When I painted “Gulls”, I wanted to capture one of those fleeting moments when the sea, sky and light seem to belong to the same dream. Towering pink and blue clouds rise above the ocean, while a flock of gulls drifts across the horizon, bringing movement, freedom and life to the scene.
