Sept. 2023 / Abstract Acrylic Painting / Textured (10 Layers) / 16 x 20 x 1.5 on Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Sides will be painted to match the painting. I like building my canvases with layers of paint. There is a richness by doing this for this painting and many of the paintings I paint. The top layers I have created have specific colors and patterns I put together with the Green, Blue, and Bright Aqua Green. I have created a unique painting in a different perspective with Green in mind. I created this painting with smaller patterns to keep it simple and in minimalist style. The painting has Character that opens up with the small details. I have used Red, Skin Tone, Dark Blue, and Lime Green in my palette for these unique small details in this painting. The texture, the lines, and the patterns have a purpose that gives a lot of exploring in this Abstract. I draw on an Asian & Middle Eastern influence as well as Prehistoric aspect with many of my paintings. I have painted this Abstract with a loose feeling as well. I created the painting blending with my palette knives.
I have placed felt pads on the 4 corners of the backside to protect the wall. And, so you are able to place the painting in 4 different ways. Golden Professional Archival Gloss Varnish Spray has been applied to protect the painting. Certificate of Authenticity included 1/1.
Lighting will be important for this painting or any other painting to bring out the brilliance of the colors. Also, Wall colors will be important for this painting or any painting. Play around with lighting and wall colors if you are able to do this with this painting or any other painting you purchase.
Note: I base my pricing on amount of time working on the painting, the genre, art supplies used, and Artfinder's % which is reasonable and good since they are promoting my artwork Internationally.
