Here’s another one: “A person doesn’t stumble over mountains, but over molehills.” “A truth as plain as day.” A dear colleague has a penchant for this sort of proverb and saying, sometimes downright irritating, though there is certainly some hard-won wisdom in them; so here’s one more to finish with. “Don’t get too fat!”, (ouch, ouch), or rather, live and enjoy!
