Color moves freely across the canvas in vivid yellow, green, blue, crimson and orange. Broad shapes overlap, collide and dissolve into one another, creating a composition that feels spontaneous, energetic and full of life.

The title "Garish" is used playfully rather than critically. The painting embraces everything that is bright, excessive and unapologetically visible. It is about the pleasure of intensity — choosing joy over restraint, confidence over hesitation, and allowing color to occupy as much space as it needs.

Some forms may suggest fragments of a face, body or landscape, while others remain entirely abstract. I wanted to preserve that openness, so the viewer can discover their own images within the shifting color fields. Thick passages of paint, visible brushwork and contrasting areas give the surface a strong physical rhythm, while the pale background keeps the composition light and spacious.
