A rose unfolds at the center of the painting, surrounded by fragments of petals, color and light. Some forms remain precise, while others dissolve into translucent washes of pink, violet and green.
The work moves between observation and abstraction, exploring how a flower can be both present and already changing. Rather than capturing a fixed botanical image, I allow water and pigment to transform what I see — until the boundaries between flower, memory and color begin to disappear.
