I love finding hidden valleys and glades. There is a sense of personal privilege to happen upon a 'secret' spot. The difficulty is to translate this image into paint. I am happy that this painting comes close to achieving this imagery. It is a mixture of acrylic paint and pastel on canvas. The canvas is 4 cm deep so the is no need to frame.
