This contemporary abstract landscape is built from flowing lines and layered fields of colour, transforming a distant view of hills, valleys and open land into a rhythmic composition. Deep blues and violets meet soft pinks, turquoise and warm earthy oranges, while a winding ivory path leads the eye through the landscape toward the horizon. Strong black contours connect the individual shapes and give the painting its distinctive graphic character.

Part of my Flowing Landscapes series, this work explores the landscape through simplified forms, movement and colour rather than realistic detail. The smooth, continuous shapes suggest hills, fields, water and distant mountains while remaining open to interpretation. Painted in acrylic with flat areas of colour and expressive outlines, the artwork combines the calm atmosphere of a landscape with a bold, modern visual language.
