The bespoke wood frame is a St Ives style , and is painted a soft white.

A recent departure from landscape painting -however I approach still life as depicting a landscape on the table really!
I was thinking of tapestries and rich decorations when I was painting this- memories of a visit to Venice many years ago perhaps!
The soft palette focuses on dusky pinks and yellow ochres. The creamy whites of the flowers pick up on the light to the left. Subtle areas of a lavender blue cool the overall effect.

The painting is shipped wrapped in several protective layers before being placed in a sturdy cardboard box.
I always send my paintings by tracked courier for extra security.
