Flower orchard
A blue sky day,
Sitting in mum and dads garden,
Beneath the fruit trees,
I begin to paint the scene,
Of the pretty Spring meadow.
Words and feelings of a beautiful time I had painting outside in the warm air surrounded by nature.
Original watercolour painting on cold pressed watercolour paper Saunders Waterford 300gsm 140lb.
Signed on the front and back of artwork.
Certificate of authenticity.
I used a three colour technique and started mixing the colours for the sky and background. I wet the paper all over and applied watery washes of colours.
For the flowers, pear and plum tree I used my filbert brush, Chinese brush by pressing, dabbing and dragging the paint for the patterns.
