I was selected for this exhibition at the Art Factory in Bruton Somerset .
I have one watercolour called overlapping colours on show here and hope to get selected for the next years show called Way out west.
Biography
My passion is watercolour especially wet on wet technique.I love to mix colours and creating the feeling,movement and atmosphere of a place.
From spring to Autumn the ever-changing light on the Dorset chalk hills or the Blackmore vale that is what I see every day and immerse myself particularly on a summers day in the wild flower meadows studying flora and fauna for the detail in my paintings.

I have an emotional and family connection with Scotland as I am half Scottish.I got married there and visited Glasgow - the area around it to see where my grandparents lived to connect with my Scottish routes.
Imagination ,spontaneity and translucency is the magic of watercolour.
The natural ,organicness I study and paint.
I teach one to one tuition in watercolours and demonstrate to art groups plus I do commissions .
