An evening walk along my favourite lane inspired this painting. It was only just light enough to photograph these beautiful old oak trees with the dying sun blazing across the horizon. The trees look strange and eerie with the bare twisted branches and the stubble and grass looked alight with golden sparkles.
I love how atmospheric and unusual the finished painting has turned out, it would make a very striking statement piece framed or unframed. International collectors will receive the painting rolled in a tube for safe international delivery and can be affordably stretched at your local framing store.
