There is a big fig tree in my neighborhood, before and during its fruiting season, the wind brings the beautiful scent of the wood. Guided by the invisible chemicals, insects and birds come to feed. Trying to find the connection of the visual and the sensibles, instead of following Renaissance-defined visual rules, my brush follow the colors like an insect follows the scent of a tree. It is also like when our eyes and body try to comprehend a phenomenon, a lot of trembling movements of back and forth happen rather than a static image comes through instantly. My work focuses on the movements of the eyes and the body when encounter a phenomenon.
