Feels like sunset

There is a particular warmth in the last light of the day—
the kind that stays on the skin
even after the sun has begun to disappear.

The world seems to soften for a moment.
Colours deepen, shadows grow quieter,
and everything carries the memory of light.

Perhaps this is what I wanted to keep here:
the last heat of the day,
the glow that lingers,
and the feeling of something beautiful
just before it slips into oblivion.
