Fall Tree Original Oil Painting by Mark Peterson

One beautiful, fall sunrise I found this tree being illuminated in a most spectacular display of radiance and contrast, amplified by the brilliant colors of the season. The low highlands in the background provide a hint of mid-level altitudes in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. This enchanting scene is not far from my house in Susanville, northern California. This painting will be best displayed with ample lighting suitable for artwork in order to bring out the rich colors, especially inside the shadowed areas. It is a 30" by 40" oil painting on stretched linen canvas with a "Galley Wrap" stretching method and painted on the edges. It is ready to hang with wire already fastened or it can be framed for hanging. Included is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity, which will also bear the name of the original buyer. It is truly a one-of-a-kind original, the only one in the world. It is signed on the lower right front and also with my legal signature on the back. Embedded on the stretcher bars on the back is my right thumbprint and legal signature, which is also on the Certificate of Authenticity. These are my personally devised security methods to ensure authenticity and protect from unauthorized reproduction or forgery. It will also make it much easier for future professional art evaluations regarding certification with direct verification and connection to me, the artist, Mark Peterson.
