Original artwork description
Painted on location at Rann of Kutch (Gujrat), the salt marshes of India during sunset, this work belongs as a continuation to my 2019 “Serenity” series, a period centered on stillness and atmospheric reflection. The vastness of the landscape and the gradual dimming of light created a moment of still awareness, a space where color seemed to breathe and dissolve at once. In “Fading Radiance,” I sought to hold that sensation, allowing warmth to recede into quiet greys, and form to merge with air. The painting became less about depiction and more about transition, a meditative pause between brilliance and silence.
