Fading Outlines (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Daniela Schweinsberg
120 x 160 x 2cm
£3,962.88
Original artwork description
This large‑scale original abstract painting features expressive brushstrokes, layered textures, and a hint of contemporary architectural abstraction, making it a striking piece of modern abstract art for collectors seeking impactful statement works. Its bold composition combines deep blue, muted blue, soft white, and subtle red‑orange accents to create a dynamic and atmospheric visual presence.
Originally conceived in October 2025 as part of a yellow diptych, this artwork underwent a long process of transformation (find some in progress pics here). While the second panel remained in its original yellow and was already finished in November, this piece evolved gradually, revealing new structures, colors, and depth over time. Softly blurred contours and overlapping forms evoke the sense of something emerging from — or gently fading back into — a mist. This slow metamorphosis is precisely what gives the painting its emotional resonance and poetic stillness.
This work is sold unframed, frames / in situ images for illustration purposes only.
Ships rolled in a tube.* (Contact me if you want a quote for shipping it flat and ready to hang.)
Painted on raw canvas, the edges continue the natural fabric and reveal the painting process.
Finished with a silky varnish with UV protection.
Signed on the front and signed and dated on the back, also signed Certificate.

*) Shipping large formats rolled is safer and environmentally more friendly than shipping ready-to-hang. The canvas can be easily re-stretched by a framer at your location, which in most cases is much cheaper than the increased transport costs for a ready-to-hang painting. Nevertheless, most works can also ship ready to hang, so if you'd like a comparison quote for this, please contact me.
