Embedded (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Chrissie Havers

An original landscape acrylic on panel. Another in a series inspired by a spring time visit to France. The agricultural landscape there is very hilly with lots of quite large wooded areas. Crops are a mixture of grains like wheat, and sunflowers later on. Dotted on the slopes are the vineyards. This painting shows a small shed nestling into the hillside. The range of colours in the hills reflect the light soil that seems to turn pink in certain lights. The painting was made using my sketchbook painting as sole reference. To accomplish this I had to walk into the wheat ,carefully keeping to the tractor lines so as not to damage the growing crop. It was a quiet place to be and I felt very peaceful while sketching there.

The painting is framed in a bespoke expertly crafted frame.
It will be shipped wrapped in several protective layers inside a sturdy cardboard box. Lots to unwrap I know, but I want to be as sure as possible of the artwork arriving safely.

I always send my paintings by tracked courier for extra security.
