The Elemental series grew from my fascination with the natural forces that shape us: earth, water, fire and air, and the ways these elements can also mirror our emotional and spiritual lives. Rather than depicting nature literally, I use abstraction, colour, texture and gesture to explore states of movement, stillness, transformation and balance.
