There is a brief moment in early spring when the forest is still almost bare, yet the river already feels completely alive. This was the moment I wanted to capture in Early Spring Rapids.

The trees remain quiet and translucent against the pale sky, while the water rushes over stones, breaking into white currents and reflections. I was especially interested in this contrast between stillness and movement, and in the restrained colors of the season: silver water, violet-grey trees, earthy ochres, and the first subtle signs of returning warmth.

For me, this landscape is about transition. Nature has not yet awakened fully, but its energy is already unmistakable. The river carries that energy through the silent woodland, turning an understated spring scene into something powerful and alive.
