No matter what happens, human beings see the world as they see it, not the way it actually is. You are a flow, you constantly change, if you are alive, there are bits and pieces of you that transform all the time without you being conscious of it: you pump up blood around your body, grow hair, get older... It means that your views of the world can also be changed. You don't have to be stuck in one single life situation, value system, or set of personality traits. We are all in a drift, and remembering that can be incredibly liberating and calming.
