This is a three block lino print of a dragonfly on Willow. The dragonfly is printed in prussian blue with some silver ink added. The Willow tree is green and the background is a washy mixture of cerulean blue and brown.

There is a large and beautiful Willow tree in a road near to where I live. I have always admired it and love dragonflies so that is how this image started. Dragonflies and Willow trees are, of course, both often found near water.

Materials used:

lino, watercolour paper, relief printing ink
