Dissolving in Landscape (2025) Original Watercolour by Anna Belousova

33 x 45 x 0.2cm (unframed) / 33 x 45cm (actual image size)

£345.5

This watercolor work explores the fragile boundary between the human body and the natural world. A reclining figure gradually dissolves into a vibrant landscape of vegetation, light, and organic growth, becoming part of the environment that surrounds it. The figure appears suspended between presence and disappearance, as if identity itself were softening and opening toward something larger than the self.

Part of an ongoing series based on self-directed performance and observation, this piece reflects my interest in intimacy, transformation, and the porous relationship between humans and the living world. The body is not presented as an object to be viewed, but as a site of connection, where personal experience merges with landscape, memory, and natural processes.

The warm palette of reds, pinks, yellows, and soft greens brings a sense of tenderness and quiet sensuality, making this work both visually striking and contemplative.

It is signed and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
All paintings are packed very carefully in cardboard boxes with generous layers to protect them.
