Disintegration

What remains of us when identity begins to dissolve?

Disintegration explores the fragile boundary between presence and disappearance. A mysterious figure, her face concealed beneath an organic, sculptural form, appears to dissolve into darkness. Her body slowly fragments into countless particles, suggesting that identity is never fixed but constantly shaped by time, memory, and transformation.

The contrast between the structured leather harness and the gradual disintegration of the body creates a visual tension between control and surrender, strength and vulnerability. Inspired by themes of metamorphosis and impermanence, the artwork questions the nature of the self and the inevitable changes that redefine who we are.

Rather than depicting destruction, Disintegration represents transformation—the moment when one existence fades to make space for another. The image invites viewers to confront their own perceptions of identity, loss, and renewal, leaving its meaning open to personal interpretation.

Printed on museum-quality archival Fine Art paper, each print is hand-signed, individually numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
High-end print produced on Canson Infinity Rag II Fine Art Cotton Paper (310 gsm), offering exceptional detail reproduction and deep, rich blacks.
