Original artwork description:

An exotic landscape with dark plants that are overwhelming each other constantly. This place is a mysterious space where a semblance of reality appears but where we do not really know what is going on.

Wild paint dabs smashed out of nowhere and a bunch of unusual strokes of color put together into the painting that resembles a jungle. This work will fit great into any space - classic or contemporary.

The "Dark Jungle" Theme refers to an introspective feeling, a journey inwards into the subconscious mind. Not everyone is brave enough to go on this journey, as there are perils lurking from within.

Upon closer inspection, one can observe that the work is, in fact, quite colorful, with purple, red and green-ish hues filling the gaps between the dark and pointy leaves. This is an invitation to explore and be courageous and forth-coming in spirit and in action.

This work is part of the wider "Chlorophyll" Series that encompasses all of Virtosu's explorations of imaginary natural landscapes.
