Cypress Walk (2026) Original Oil Painting by Nataliia Nosyk

This painting was created during my painting trip to the Costa Brava, Spain, in the elegant Santa Clotilde Gardens, where classical architecture and Mediterranean nature exist in perfect harmony.

I was especially drawn to this quiet corner of the garden, where a marble sculpture seems to watch over the sunlit pathway framed by towering cypress trees. At the end of the path, a small glimpse of the Mediterranean appears between the greenery, inviting the viewer to continue the walk.

The strong vertical rhythm of the cypress trees contrasts beautifully with the soft light falling across the path and hedges, creating a sense of calm, balance, and timelessness. Painted entirely on location, this work captures one of those peaceful moments when history, nature, and light become inseparable.
