In this abstract composition, I continue my exploration of inner emotional states and the language of pure painting. Created over the course of nearly two years, the piece developed through a patient, evolving dialogue—setting the canvas aside, stepping back, and returning to it with a fresh eye to build rich, layered history into the surface.

Music plays a central role in my studio practice, acting as a catalyst that unlocks deeper painterly expression. Listening to jazz and classical music throughout the process helped shape the work’s inner rhythm and structure, guiding the balance between dense indigo blues, tactile whites, and sudden, expressive bursts of warm coral, gold, and red.
