The Chimaera series of watercolours presents mythical entities that combine elements within a non-hierarchical space. They are derived from a series of oil paintings I made between 1976 and 1984, which were exhibited in London, Dublin, Hamburg, Koln and New York. They literally pick up where these earlier paintings left off. They are also an adjunct to the single, dual and triple object watercolours of 2025/26.
