The ancient beech trees of the Chilterns, traditionally used for furniture making, cling onto the white chalk slopes of the escarpment. They're so old now they've taken on a wizened dinosaur form. In autumn, the newly orange leaves form a crunchy carpet in the woods; the few remaining on the branches stand out vividly against the wintery watery blue autumn sky.
This is a reduction print, produced on lino. It will be supplied mounted on a neutral mounting board, ready for a standard 10 x 12" inch frame.
Shipped in a cellophane sleeve.
