Chatter Box (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by PEZ

Offered UNSTRETCHED & UNFRAMED. Shipped in Tube.
~
An original abstract painting playing with the community "grapevine", exploring how news, rumours, and social chatter twist, layer, and spread through a neighbourhood.
There is a mimicking social clutter by mixing urban pop art elements with heavy texturing. I’ve used a chaotic overlapping of line work to put you in the middle of the noise… but only at some points… you can choose to step away. This is a bold, conversational statement piece well-suited for modern homes, living spaces, or workplaces.
The painting features a clean satin/semi-gloss finish that adds depth to the layers without throwing off a harsh glare under room lighting.

DIMENSIONS & PREVIEWS:
All my artworks are listed as 'stretched' dimensions. Which means I allow 5-7cm addition canvas on each side for stretching. I provide insitu images with listings to give you an idea of how the artwork would look within room and framing contexts. I strive to ensure they are accurate but they are approximations.

SHIPPING:
Free Shipping is included in the listed price, Worldwide. The artwork is offered unstretched and unframed, carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube. This is to reduce the cost of the artwork and eliminate the threat of breakage. Your artwork will be safely sealed in an industrial-grade tube.
Upon arrival, any reputable local frame shop in your city can easily stretch the canvas and frame it to suit your specific interior design requirements - I provide a cover sheet for framers to reference.

All my artwork arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity.
