Cat Hugs (2022) Original Acrylic Painting by Gordon T.

Liquidex pro, Golden acrylic colours on Fabriano artistico cold pressed cotton watercololur paper, 300gm. 18 x 24 in., 45.5 x 61cm.
A semi abstract interpretation of 2 of my cats.
Here I want the movement, fluid, loose, and an interesting abstract colour scheme.
This is a lovely paper, convenient size, just the right absorbency, and a thick paper.
The close up pictures allow you a better feel for the texture and brush stroke of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress, and me with the painting for perspective. A short video fast shows me making the painting.
