They resemble menhirs, tongues, boats, sailboats, trees, loaves of bread, eggs and animals like fish... or castles formed by people creating a human tower—symbolized by a shared halo—as a collective social act. It is a tradition in Catalonia, Spain, where adults form several tiers by standing on one another's shoulders, and a child climbs to the very top, as they are the most important part.
